Salon-de-Provence

Kami ke Salon-de-Provence pada hari Ahad so banyak kedai yang tutup.Hanya sempat meronda ronda sepanjang jalan utamanya di centre ville sambil mencari kedai makan halal untuk dejeuner pour nous.
Salon-de- Provence has been dubbed the"crossroads of Provence",for its central locations.
Terkenal dengan pusat perdagangan minyak zaitun ou olive oil and as far as I know that..Salon-de-Provence turned it into the heart of the soap industry.A few of the elaborate villas built by the soap barons survive. Mostly on and  around rue de la Republique.Marius Fabre has been in operation here since 1900.Hmmm... baru teringat savon de Salon-de-Provence ada butik nya di Galeries Lafayette di Marseille.

 

 

 The famous fontaine is Fontaine Moussue,since 16th century..

My hubby said that,a second famous inhabitant of Salon,Adam de Craponne,is commemorated by a statue on a small square across from the Hotel de Ville. De Craponne was 16th century engineer who brought fertility to the region by building an irrigation canal from the Durance river through the dry plains of the Crau and out into the sea.

Carcassonne

Saya,hubby dan anak bongsu sempat singgah di kota Carcassonne,walaupun hujan renyai renyai,kami tetap mahu melihat sendiri kota yang bersejarah ini..

Remind me..teringat sejarah Perang Khandak(Parit) semasa dizaman Rasulullah s.a.w..diluar keliling kota Carcassonne ini dikelilingi parit.

La montagne Sainte-Victoire

This limestone massif  rises to 1011 meters at the peak of Mouches. 900 meters we find the priory of Sainte Victoire

My experience,this limestone mountain constantly change color according to the color of cloud and sky.

Setiap kali saya menuju ke St.Maximin,setiap kali lah saya fokus kamera saya kearah gunung St.Victoire yang tersergam merentang tanpa 'dibaluti'olih sebarang tumbuh-tumbuhan.Sungguh unik anugerah Tuhan untuk kita melihat kehebatanNya.Sedangkan dikaki Sainte Victoire tumbuh subur pokok2 anggur dan tumbuhan lain.
