Nimes..

Bila weekend je saya dan my hubby serta sibongsu mulalah googles..cari daerah2 Provence yang belum kami pergi..So..next destination is Nimes..This time without my son..Dalam 1 jam lebih kami sampai ke centre ville Nimes..had our lunch..dan tempat yang sempat kami
lawati ialah Arenes de Nimes,though most people come here for its ancient history such as the world famous aqueduct,The Pont du Gard.Talking about the Arenes..bila berada didalam stadium ni..terasa tinggal di zaman the first century A.D..this is where gladiators and animals faced each other in bitter combat.The floor or 'arena'means 'sand'..used to soak up the blood'covered passages from which wild bears,bulls,tigers were raised on an elevator to face the gladiator..the man rarely lost..itu cerita dulu..thats all those days..
